Our Little Literati Library

Our 'little library' has arrived! I had found this company through an advertisement on Facebook and thought I'd give it a try. I'm always on the hunt for good literature, it's the teacher in me. After reading reviews and looking through the website, I knew this wasn't going to be a disappointment. They send books that you normally wouldn't find on Amazon or at Barnes and Noble. You pay $10 a month for the shipment, then are given 7 days to explore your box. They provide free shipping to ship back any books you don't want. You do have to pay for the books you keep, but the prices are reasonable!

I let each of the kids open their boxes, after I peaked inside of course. Hadley was fascinated by the stickers and the light pen. The stickers they send are for you to put in the books you choose, personalized with their name.

Out of the five books, we were intrigued by four of them. The pictures are bright and detailed. The words are also very catching for a three year old! She even wanted to 'read' with me! The one thing I love about reading to my kids is it exposes them to new words. Words that they wouldn't always here on a daily basis!

Zachary also had an interesting collection in his box as well. He's our stronger reader so finding books that grab his attention can tricky at times. Chapter books seem to be his sweet spot lately so, he was pretty excited about four of the five books!

Our top picks are The Beeman and Heroes of Training! Hadley made sure to add her sticker to her book.
